Stop WikiLeaks Publication Since Boycotted


London: Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks, has announced that its site whsitleblowing it will suspend all operations because of the feud problem publishing financial boycott. Speaking at a press conference in London on Tuesday (24/10), Assange said that the financial boycott that is considered arbitrary and violated the law has eroded 95 percent of the revenue the site.

In addition, Assange added that if the financial boycott conducted by companies such as Bank of America, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and Western Union was not lifted until the New Year coming, then WikiLeaks can not continue "activity".

However, a spokesman for Wikileaks said that the website will reopen the filing of confidential documents, 28 November. In a statement, WikiLeaks adds, "The ban is outside the limits of any publicly accountable process. It is without democratic oversight or transparency."

"The U.S. government itself found that there was no valid reason to enter into the list of Wikileaks U.S. financial boycott. But WikiLeaks political boycott by U.S. financial firms continues like it is."

Wikileaks busy talking media since late 2010 and after hundreds of thousands of documents published controversial U.S. embassies and diplomatic cables. According to Assange, the organization lost tens of millions of dollars in donations during the operational costs has never been worn. Donations to WikiLeaks exposed around 100,000 euros per month in 2010, but decreased to 6.000 to 7.000 euros per month this year.
